After you schedule your senior session with me, we'll set up a time to meet for a consultation. In person consultations usually take place a week or two prior to your scheduled session. During this time, we'll go over all the details... your ideas, locations, and outfit choices. Any questions you have can be answered at this time.
HOW DO WE choose A LOCATION & WHAT TO WEAR?

Senior sessions take place most weekdays, Monday-Friday. Senior sessions are approximately 2 hours long. Morning sessions usually start around 7:30 or 8 am. Evening sessions begin at 5 or 5:30 pm.

I typically like to wait until a couple of hours before your shoot to make the call due to weather. We all know how the weather can be in Colorado Springs! Afternoon storms are fairly common during the summertime. If it looks like we may not be able to shoot due to weather, we will definitely reschedule to another day.

I do not personally offer hair and makeup services, but you are welcome to use a makeup artist if you’d like to! If you are planning on having your hair and makeup done, but don’t have anyone in mind, I am happy to give you some recommendations!

You should bring all of your outfits, pressed and on hangers. Garment bags work well. Wrinkled clothes do not look good in photos! Be sure to bring lots of accessories, shoes and appropriate undergarments. A water bottle, chapstick, a small makeup bag for touch-ups are also good ideas!
